CORAVIN MODEL Five/Six REVIEW (Holiday Update)
Happy holidays to all. In March I updated our readers on the Coravin Model Two Premium. This was due to the huge discounts which I felt were a great value to get our readers into a Coravin. Many of you have commented that I should review the Coravin Five or Six. I will do better than that. The Caravin Six+ brings a new elegance to the Coravin line. Manufactured in four colors it has a look and feel of quality and an expensive art piece. The Caravin’s all work basically the same. Models are created to keep things exciting. This is obvious as one can still purchase the original models online.
Sometimes the best values are the holiday special kits that come with extra cartridges or needles. Such components are expensive on their own and are often a great value when sold in a custom kit.
For those that want more information on Coravin please search on Utah Channel 3 for my many past reviews. The purpose of this review was to satisfy those that think the Six+ is something radically new. It is not. But it is an amazing piece and as always a great value for those that don’t want to open a bottle before its time.
Why would you buy a Coravin:
- Enjoy Wine On Your Own Terms- the Coravin wine system gives wine enthusiasts the freedom to pour any wine, in any amount, without removing the cork.
- Pour Without Opening- when you pour wine without removing the cork, you have the freedom to drink what you love – not just the wines you have open.
- Premium Wine Opener – specially designed with Teflon coated wine needle made to be gentle on your wine cork and pour wine both quickly and smoothly.
- Superior Wine Storage and Preservation – filled with ultra-pure argon gas (99. 99%), Coravin capsules are designed with patented technology to ensure that no argon escapes, and that nothing will spoil the taste of your wine, even after many years.
Note: The Coravin system costs around 60 cents to pour each glass for argon gas capsule usage. A spare argon cartridge is a great gift for those that already own a Coravin system. I rarely break a needed, but having an extra is a good idea especially if your event is organized around a Coravin.
