Police ask for help locating missing Mesquite man

ST. GEORGE — The Mesquite Police Department in Nevada is asking for the public’s help in locating a missing 38-year-old man.

Mesquite authorities are seeking information on the whereabouts of Sean Sweeney, who was last seen wearing a yellow shirt and gray shorts.

The man’s family is concerned as he has not been seen nor heard from since Wednesday, according to a post on the Mesquite Police Department’s Facebook page. Sweeney is not wanted by police.

According to a social media post with information from Sweeney’s family, he was still missing as of 2 p.m. PDT Saturday.

Anyone who may have seen Sweeney or has information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Mesquite Police Department at 702-346-6911.
